“The doors to the world of the wild self are few but precious.
If you have a deep scar, that is a door,
if you have an old, old story, that is a door.
If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door.
If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
— Clarissa Pinkola Estés

Seeking out therapy is both a brave and exciting process. Some of you may be searching for a therapist for the first time, wondering:
What can I expect from therapy?
How do I know what kind of therapist is right for me?
Some of you may have been on the healing journey for quite some time, finding yourself in a place where you are starting a new chapter of exploration.
No matter what point in our processes we are, together we all tend to find ourselves, and our bodies, on the path towards health or transformation after overwhelming experiences (emotional and/or physical), trauma, or loss. These experiences can leave us feeling fragmented, fearful, or that our inner-fire has dimmed. You may be left with feelings of depression, anxiety, grief, or simply a deep knowing that getting some support may benefit you right now.

To take a leap into this healing journey is a delicate process, one that is fierce and courageous by nature, yet can evoke a variety of emotions throughout the process. That being said, I take my role as a therapist, one who supports the client in their fierce bravery, as a facilitator of a sacred collaboration. Great care, with a trauma-informed lens, is taken developing our therapeutic alliance into one that is horizontal and grounded in trust, safety, and honesty.
Located in San Francisco, CA, I approach therapy from an integrative perspective meaning that therapy is held with an intention to restore balance between the mind, body, and spirit by way of a trauma-focused practice, transpersonal lens, somatic psychotherapy, anti-racist & social justice foundation, and expressive art modalities.
